Assessment & Qualifications Inside Sales Representative in India

Job Title: Inside Sales Support Representative

Location: Remote, India

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Support Representative to join our team, focusing on sales support, lead generation and prospecting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential customers, initiating contact, and nurturing leads to create opportunities for our sales team.

The Inside Sales Support Representative will also be responsible for handling administrative tasks, responding to customer inquiries, and assisting with order processing. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities:

Lead Generation

  1. Conduct outbound calls and emails to prospective customers to generate interest in our IT Pro learning and certification products/services.

  2. Research and identify potential leads through online sources, databases, and networking.

  3. Qualify leads based on predetermined criteria and assess their needs and requirements.

  4. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads to meet monthly and quarterly quotas.

  5. Collaborate with the sales team to transition qualified leads into opportunities for further engagement.

  6. Follow up with leads in a timely manner and nurture relationships through regular communication.

  7. Utilize CRM software to track lead interactions, update lead status, and maintain accurate records.

  8. Provide feedback to the marketing team on lead quality and effectiveness of lead generation strategies.

  9. Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.

  10. Participate in regular sales meetings and training sessions to enhance sales skills and knowledge.

Sales Support

  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.

  2. Provide information about products/services, pricing, and availability to customers.

  3. Assist sales representatives with preparing quotes, proposals, and sales presentations.

  4. Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., operations, product, finance etc) to facilitate order processing and fulfillment.

  5. Update customer records and information in the CRM system accurately and in a timely manner.

  6. Monitor and track customer orders to ensure on-time fulfilment and customer satisfaction.

  7. Address customer concerns or escalations promptly and effectively, seeking resolution where necessary.

  8. Collaborate with the sales Account Managers to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling products/services.

  9. Assist in organizing and participating in sales events, trade shows, and product demonstrations as needed.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in inside sales, lead generation, sales support or related roles.

  2. Knowledge of Lead Generation and Sales Support in Training and Certification industry.

  3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  4. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with prospects.

  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  6. Persistence, resilience, and a proactive attitude towards achieving goals.

  7. Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and proficiency in MS Office.

  8. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

  9. Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

  10. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to learn new skills.

  11. Any Pearson IT Specialist Certification will be preferred
