Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven Operations Performance Manager to join our dynamic team at WFS. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing business planning, governance processes, operational reporting, and managing key performance enablers.

The Operational Performance Manager is a pivotal role responsible for driving the efficiency and effectiveness of our operational processes. This position focuses on monitoring and improving key performance metrics, ensuring that the organization meets its strategic objectives, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, optimize resource utilization, and enhance overall productivity. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, capable of translating data insights into actionable plans that align with the company's goals. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker with a strong background in operational efficiency and effectiveness, and proven experience in setting up and driving operational disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of operational strategies that support the company’s long-term objectives.

  • Performance Monitoring: Define, embed, track, and analyze key operational metrics (OKRs, KPIs) to ensure the business consistently meets its performance targets.

  • Process Improvement: Identify operational inefficiencies and implement targeted strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.

  • Data Analysis: Utilize data to identify trends, forecast performance, and make data-driven decisions that enhance operational efficiency across teams within the business.

  • Reporting: Provide regular, insightful performance reports to leadership, highlighting successes and identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Collaboration: Partner closely with various departments to align operations with overall business goals, ensuring seamless execution; lead a virtual team to drive all aspects of performance management.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential operational risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the continuity of business operations.

  • Culture and Change: Provide training and ‘case for change’ to all stakeholders in the adoption and use of performance metrics to drive the business growth

About You:

  • Experience: Prior experience supporting or leading business operations – across sales, marketing, product, engineering and customer support; with a proven track record of improving operational efficiency.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus.

  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in data-driven decision-making. Familiarity with performance management tools and methodologies. Project management and strong organization and focus on quality management.

  • Attributes: Strategic thinker with a proactive approach, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage and inspire cross-functional teams. Commercially aware to make the best decisions
