Are you a dynamic and proactive professional with a passion for providing top-tier support to senior leaders? Pearson, a global leader in education, is seeking an Executive Assistant to support our Senior Vice President (SVP) of Reward and Vice President (VP) of Talent Acquisition (TA). In this role, you’ll play a vital part in enabling our Reward and TA teams to achieve their global objectives by managing critical operational and administrative tasks.
About the Role
As the Executive Assistant, you will act as a trusted partner, seamlessly supporting the SVP and VP with day-to-day operations. You’ll bring exceptional organisational skills, sound business judgment, and a proactive approach to a fast-paced, global environment. Your ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion will be key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Optimise the SVP Reward and VP Talent Acquisition’s schedules by managing complex calendars and aligning priorities across their teams.
Coordinate logistics for virtual and in-person events, including town halls, conferences, and off-site meetings.
Attend meetings to capture key takeaways, track follow-ups, and ensure accountability on action items.
Manage relationships and schedules with external partners, customers, and key stakeholders.
Handle travel arrangements and expense processing with a focus on efficiency and timeliness.
Provide advance notice and follow-up on time-sensitive and priority matters.
Support global programs and create impactful dashboards or presentation decks for leadership.
What We’re Looking For
You’re a self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments and can anticipate the needs of senior leaders. You’re tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and capable of juggling multiple responsibilities. Your professional demeanour and ability to interact with diverse individuals, from board members to C-suite EAs, set you apart.
In addition you will have:
Proven experience supporting C-level executives, ideally in a global corporate setting.
Project management experience, from inception to completion.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions.
Technologically adept and quick to learn new tools.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all matters.
