About the position

As a Senior Digital Designer (Marketing and Web) at Mondly, you will be embedded withing the Mondly design team and work closely with our Marketing team to design and implement visually compelling digital assets and landing pages while ensuring a seamless user experience for our global website and digital marketing campaigns. You will work alongside the creative team to ensure that the Mondly brand voice is expressed with impact and clarity across web and the whole digital ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute creative assets for app stores, including banners, screenshots, and product page visuals, ensuring they align with brand guidelines and enhance user attraction

  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team, product managers, engineers, and other designers to create innovative, user-friendly web designs with a focus on landing pages and other key web elements

  • Create visually engaging creatives for brand awareness, digital advertising campaigns, including banner ads and promotional materials, sales, and other communication campaigns

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to refine designs through A/B testing, adapting to feedback and analytics to maximize campaign effectiveness

  • Work in a fast-paced agile development environment, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, meeting deadlines

  • Advocate for design excellence, always aiming to meet both user needs and business goals

  • Stay current with design and communication trends, technologies, and best practices, bringing new ideas to the team

  • Present your designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and stakeholders, capturing feedback to iterate upon

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in design, HCI, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in digital design (web and graphic), ideally with strong track record of supporting Marketing initiatives

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in designing and launching successful digital marketing campaigns and landing pages.

  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography and colour theory

  • Strong experience with Figma and Adobe Creative suite

  • Understanding of UX/UI Design

  • Understanding of HTML & CSS. Familiarity with JavaScript is a nice to have

  • Experience working with design systems

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Marketing teams and generally cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and analytics

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present design concepts and other visuals to stakeholders.

  • Passion for learning and EdTech, and a desire to shape the future of these industries.

  • Belief in Mondly’s mission to create a world where learning new languages is enjoyable and accessible to everyone with access to a smartphone

  • Fluency in English (Spoken and Written)
