English Language Learning Professional Development Consultant in China

About the role: We are currently looking for a experienced, engaging individual to join our team. As an Senior Professional Development Consultant you will be responsible for understanding the characteristics of market segmentation (e.g., prep centers, international schools, etc.) in the Chinese market and, either independently or collaboratively, deliver online or on-site teacher training tailored to different channels.

Our Purpose - Add Life to a Lifetime of Learning

As a Senior Professional Development Consultant, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Understanding the characteristics of market segmentation (e.g., prep centers, international schools, etc.) in the Chinese market and, either independently or collaboratively, deliver online or on-site teacher training tailored to different channels.

  • Coordinating with suppliers, freelancers, and other resources to facilitate the smooth execution of training events.

  • Maintaining a community of teachers, providing daily academic and teaching support to community members.

  • Supporting the sales team by providing teacher training solutions tailored to specific client profiles.

  • Coordinating cross-team resources to support the Senior Professional Development Consultant in producing or localizing test preparation materials.

  • Liaising with marketing, D2C, and other teams to support marketing or branding activities targeted at different distribution channels.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, with preference given to majors in TESOL, Linguistics, or Second Language Acquisition.

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in training and course design, with a preference for those with experience in preparatory exams for studying abroad (eg., IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo, etc.).

  • Candidates with qualifications such as TKT, CELTA, or DELTA are preferred.

  • Excellent proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing in English, able to use English as a working language.

  • Experience in project management; candidates with community operation experience are preferred.

  • Good presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Target driven, solution-oriented/ consultation approach and can-do attitude
