Job Information

Assessment & Qualifications Project Administrator in London, United Kingdom

Location: Operating a hybrid working model attending our London Strand Offices at least two times per week.

Reporting into the Programme Director, the Project Administrator will sit in the Project Management team. The Project Administrator will provide support for the Project Managers in the delivery of a high level of service to our clients. They will also contribute towards continuous improvement and increased efficiency in service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the creation, review and formatting of project work plans and other governance documentation

  • Ensure all documentation is kept up to date (including project logs, risks and issues logs, progress reports, quality registers)

  • Support with resource management and budget tracking

  • Attend meetings (operational meetings, KIT meetings with client, internal and external project board meetings) and take and publish minutes and actions in a timely fashion

  • Manage the PMO inbox ensuring all communications are tracked and actioned

  • Effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders

  • Maintain a client focused approach to all projects

  • Assist with the production of key reporting and metrics related to projects and activities

  • Prepare complex MI reports and updates for key meetings

  • Any other adhoc duties as allocated

  • Provide overall support to the Project Managers, Programme Director and other stakeholders

Essential

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in an administrative role supporting complex projects

  • Understanding of project delivery using the PRINCE2 project management methodology and ideally PRINCE2 Foundation status

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and to deliver high-quality outputs to pace and strict deadlines

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience in designing charts, visuals and infographics for reports and presentations

  • Experience in presenting data and preparing papers and progress reports for meetings

  • Excellent proofing and formatting skills and ability to set up and apply style guides

  • Strong computer literacy – good knowledge of Project Management software, Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Lucid Chart, Adobe

Desirable

  • A good understanding of the education system in the UK

  • Experience of working within a PMO
