Position Overview
This role combines solid practitioner experience in product delivery with strong coaching abilities, focusing on building capabilities and transforming practices across business units. Successful candidates will be able to flex between strategic work and team-level activity, with an overall mission to drive and scale change with a practical lens.
Key Responsibilities
Product Team Coaching & Delivery
Provide targeted coaching on product management practices and cross-functional collaboration
"Lead strategic product initiatives at a team level – either ‘0-1’ or enhancements to existing product lines - driving adoption of best practices"
Coach teams on developing standard artifacts (MRDs, PRDs, roadmaps) and product management fundamentals
Help leaders define effective OKRs and align team objectives with business strategy
Operating Model & Change Management
Support Product Operating Model initiatives including OKR setting, training programs, and process improvements
Run assessments to measure skill development and behaviour change in product teams, working with BU leadership to develop action plans
Drive standardization where it matters while maintaining team flexibility for rapid execution
Training & Knowledge Sharing
Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on product management and agile methodologies
Create high-quality training content, workshops, training sessions, and other skill-building programs leveraging practical product management experience
Maintain knowledge sharing platforms and ensure consistent training standards
Community & Process Excellence
Facilitate communities of practice to drive continuous learning and adoption of best practices across the organization
Identify and implement practices to optimize product lifecycle and operating model, such as product councils for knowledge sharing
Support teams in preparing for key ceremonies (QBRs, roadmap reviews, business case development)
Required Qualifications
4+ years of product management experience with demonstrated coaching or mentoring abilities
Strong understanding of agile methodologies and product delivery practices
Experience developing training content and facilitating workshops or learning programs
Excellent communication and presentation skills with proven record of influencing at all levels
Proven ability to work effectively across business units and with diverse stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in transformation, change management, or organizational development roles
Background in consulting, training, or learning & development
Experience building and leading communities of practice or professional development programs
Knowledge of product operating models and capability assessment methodologies
Strong facilitation skills and experience with adult learning principles

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York State, New York City, Vermont, Washington State, and Washington DC laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
The minimum full-time salary range is between $195,000 - $215,000 - This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program, and information on benefits offered is here .
