About the role
We are seeking a passionate and talented Automation Analyst with experience in automation initiatives, particularly within the ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) domain. This role focuses on analyzing business requirements, identifying automation opportunities, and designing solutions for development. Ideal candidates thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment and are eager to deepen their technical skill set, potentially advancing into automation development in the future.
Focus Areas and deliverables
Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and identify areas where automation can deliver value.
Analyze and document workflows, requirements, and process improvement opportunities.
Translate business needs into detailed design specifications for automation developers.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Act as a key liaison between technical teams and business units, ensuring alignment and mutual understanding.
Facilitate workshops and discussions to gather insights, validate designs, and ensure smooth implementation of solutions.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, timelines, and outcomes.
Solution Design and Collaboration:
Create functional designs and workflows for automation solutions within ServiceNow HRSD and UiPath.
Work closely with developers to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
Identify scalable and sustainable automation strategies aligned with business goals.
Citizen Development and Technical Growth:
Gain hands-on experience with ServiceNow and UiPath to design and develop smaller-scale solutions.
Transition from a business analyst to a hybrid citizen developer, building and deploying automations directly.
Continuously learn and grow technical skills to take on end-to-end solution ownership.
Stay Updated on Emerging Trends:
Stay informed about advancements in intelligent automation, ServiceNow, UiPath, conversational AI, and related technologies.
Apply insights from emerging trends to recommend innovative solutions and enhance the team’s automation capabilities.
Share knowledge and best practices with team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Stakeholder Training and Adoption:
Support stakeholders in understanding and adopting new automated workflows and systems.
Actively promote the value of automation and educate teams on its benefits.
Required skills/experience
Proven experience in business analysis, especially within ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) or similar platforms.
Strong skills in gathering and documenting requirements, process mapping, and creating functional designs.
Familiarity with automation tools like UiPath or other RPA platforms.
Eagerness to grow technical skills and transition into a citizen developer role.
Experience configuring and building solutions in ServiceNow or UiPath - not essential, desirable.
Knowledge of HR operations and processes, would be an advantage - not essential, desirable.
