Position Overview

The Product Manager leads a product development team and makes key decisions about the creation or expansion of a best in class brand, product or course, having a measurable impact on learner outcomes. Working in-house in Warsaw as part of a project team the Product Manager ensures a consistent and clear line of sight to the customer throughout the product development process, ensuring that all stakeholders have a clearly-articulated and shared understanding of their requirements and the product deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop deep discipline and market knowledge of the segment to drive product evelopment decisions throughout a product’s life cycle.

  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and Portfolio Market Manager to understand market and customer insights and learner requirements in order to deliver on the value proposition.

  • Responsible for the creation of business cases and product development plans, financial performance and learning outcomes for the course.

  • Responsible for financial budget planning and accountable for end-to-end management and monitoring of budget associated with product development.

  • Collaborate with Product Management to recommend relevant technology roadmap improvements

  • Responsible for the management of risks and issues relating to product development.

  • Travel as needed for research purposes, conferences and events to develop market insights, strengthen educator community and drive revenue performance.

  • Act as the key interface for the portfolio/brand with local sales and marketing teams, as well as local product development teams.



  • University/College degree in linguistics, foreign language, or related field or qualification in teaching English as a second/foreign language (Certificate or Diploma in TEFL or TESOL).

  • A combination of both Editorial and Teaching experience in English as second/foreign language, linguistics, or foreign language.

  • Evidence of overseeing end-to-end development of innovative and new product/services.

  • Experience in managing in-house and free-lance staff.

  • Expertise in identifying project critical success factors and barriers to success, initiating change to bring about a successful project delivery.

  • Sound business and technical acumen, with the ability to navigate a complex and highly matrixed organisation effectively, establishing effective communication lines to multiple stakeholders.

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines, remaining pragmatic and results-focused.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.

  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
