Pearson Senior Manager, Technology Implementations in United States

Senior Manager sought for overseeing simultaneous technology implementations for new B2B customers.

Spotlight is an AWS Platform-as-a-Service that creates animated videos for millions of parents that explains the test results of their students in multiple languages. Each video is mass-personalized to each student so that it explains their exact scores, what they mean along with specific recommendations on how to improve. Customers include State Education Agencies, school districts and other assessment companies. (see

Early in 2021,Spotlight was acquired by Pearson NCS, the world's largest learning company. As a result, our business has tripled, with continued growth anticipated in 2022. Currently our team has approximately 25 people. We interface closely with another 25 people in other parts of the Pearson organization.

Each new customer requires a custom configuration of our Platform, requiring a team of 8 people approximately 6 months. This involves software engineers, script writers, animators, voice actors, project managers, account managers, and quality assurance personnel.

The Senior Manager for Implementation services will oversee a team on approximately 4 projects. In addition, the Senior Manager will work with other teams to put in place better technologies and processes to manage approximately 20 projects annually.

The Senior Manager must have at least 4 years in a similar role, such as work with a major consulting company hired to oversee technology implementations.

Software project management experience is also required. Technical training is a plus.

This is a fully-remote position.

The anticipated starting salary range for Colorado-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $100-120k. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program.
