Pearson’s Digital and Technology teams drive technology strategy. To support the above, and to ensure successful delivery for technology in Pearson, we need a Salesforce Support Specialist to join our team.

Scope and impact of job

You will become a member of the team supporting Pearson Online Learning Services where your familiarity with Salesforce, your demonstrated interest in Sales and Marketing and your computer science skills will make you an important member of the team. You will be responsible for enabling Salesforce.com solutions that support the development of new and existing program functionality that drives sales within the organization.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ticket troubleshooting, carrying out impact analysis, and providing multiple resolution to a problem associated with Salesforce.

  • Work closely and interactively with the business as a point of contact for the operational aspects of production technical needs

  • Analysis of customer and contact databases

  • Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion

  • Provide quality assurance of imported data

  • Development of dashboards & reports

  • Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves operational problems within area of focus. Identifies and suggests improvements.

  • Work closely with production developers, particularly regarding escalation of issues.

  • Develop documentation and procedures, as required.

  • Participate in developing and completing system testing, training, and implementation-related activities.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Work experience with Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud

  • Familiarity with Salesforce EDA architecture

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator required

  • Familiarity with agile

  • Work experience as a data or support analyst or in a related field

  • Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or related field

  • Ability to translate business requirements in to non-technical, lay terms

  • High-level written and verbal communication skills

Desirable skills and experience

  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, or Platform Developer 1

The anticipated starting salary range for Colorado-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $70-100K. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program.
