We are on the hunt for a savvy Senior Ecommerce and Marketing Manager, based in Singapore, with local market experience, who knows what it takes to build a direct brand and ecommerce business in South-East Asia.
You will be our resident expert on all things D2C, ecommerce and digital marketing. You have experience working with marketplaces such as Lazada, Shopee and Amazon, and are always on the lookout to try new ideas and build on your successes (and failures). You understand the importance of optimisation, and know how web, ecommerce, search, SEO, analytics and social come together to build a D2C business.
You will be part of the Higher Education International team at Pearson and will report into the Head of Sales and Business Development, also based in Singapore. You will work closely with the Sales, Product, Operations and Higher Ed International marketing teams to help the business shift to a direct model.
Key responsibilities include:
Growing our ecommerce business in South East Asia for Higher Education
Defining our ecommerce strategy across the region – identifying customers, product sets, channels (marketplaces), fulfilment options and managing delivery
Managing existing storefronts such as Shopee, Lazada and Amazon and working with Enablers to grow and expand these.
Product owner of Pearson’s online channels for Higher Education in the region – across web, ecommerce, social, SEO, search in support of growth targets.
Work with Higher Education International Marketing team to build D2C practice and support delivery of digital products into market.
Qualifications / success criteria:
Marketing / Ecommerce - Business Degree
5+ years’ experience in ecommerce, digital, marketing and some knowledge of analytics
Proven track record in managing ecommerce, D2C and 3rd party marketplaces
Experience across digital and performance marketing, web and digital channels to support ecommerce.
