Pearson Problem Manager in Sri Lanka
Responsibilities:
Ability to demonstrate technical knowledge and understanding of the platform, components, and data flows
Should be able to write and execute SQL queries and rapidly and accurately analyze data from various sources to determine cause
Should be able to read code and identify cause of incidents
Should be able to write scripts to implement work arounds and has passion and skills to eliminate manual toil through automation
Ability to partner across these teams to drive resolution of incidents impacting our users
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology) or relevant experience
Two years' experience in a similar capacity
Experience and proven skills in SQL, Scripting and troubleshooting are necessary
Excellent knowledge of ITIL v3 and/or ITIL 4.ITIL foundations (or higher) certified preferred
Knowledge of Agile development methods. Familiarity/Certified with the Scaled Agile Framework methodology preferred
Familiar with DevOps. Experience working in a Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment environment is preferred
