Pearson Problem Manager in Sri Lanka


  • Ability to demonstrate technical knowledge and understanding of the platform, components, and data flows

  • Should be able to write and execute SQL queries and rapidly and accurately analyze data from various sources to determine cause

  • Should be able to read code and identify cause of incidents

  • Should be able to write scripts to implement work arounds and has passion and skills to eliminate manual toil through automation

  • Ability to partner across these teams to drive resolution of incidents impacting our users


  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology) or relevant experience

  • Two years' experience in a similar capacity

  • Experience and proven skills in SQL, Scripting and troubleshooting are necessary

  • Excellent knowledge of ITIL v3 and/or ITIL 4.ITIL foundations (or higher) certified preferred

  • Knowledge of Agile development methods. Familiarity/Certified with the Scaled Agile Framework methodology preferred

  • Familiar with DevOps. Experience working in a Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment environment is preferred
