The business area: The Production & Digital Studio team for Higher Ed International is accountable for the successful end-to-end production of courseware across all formats and product models including print, eBooks, rich media, simulations/games, current generation digital supplemental products, and next generation integrated digital products, as well as oversight of Pearson rights & permissions, courseware quality assurance, and global content solutions. The organization currently produces over 1200+ PC/mobile software and print titles annually across multiple Pearson geographic locations worldwide augmented by thousands of vendors and freelancers around the world.
The team: The Technical Project Management & Solutions group is a multinational team working to develop unified systems and processes and establish best practices through partnership and collaboration. The team operates on a foundation of professionalism, trust, respect, true and honest communication, sharing information, curiosity, openness to new ideas and ways of working, continuous improvement, and a willingness to take risks and take on new challenges. The shared purpose of the members on the team is to lead on implementing new processes successfully around the world, while also remaining keen learners who are unafraid to change, pivot, and grow.
The role: Responsible for the creation, design, development, production, and release of commercially viable products and content solutions in multiple formats. Partners with Product Management teams to ensure products and content solutions delivered fit marketplace needs. Owns planning, workflow, process, schedule, budget, resourcing, and deliverables, and works across the product lifecycle and with matrix stakeholders to ensure product delivery health, identify dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies.
What you will do:
Manage the creation of digital content and online courses for Pearson's products and platforms.
Use Pearson tools to build digital courseware.
Work with product teams to define content and course design.
Communicate with production teams and other stakeholders.
Manage schedules and prioritize deadlines.
Work actively to ensure all product innovation coincides with Pearson’s target demographics.
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

Ability to work with cross-functional teams delivering both digital and print product outputs
Diligent attention to detail
Strong organizational skills – self-organizing and self-motivating
Strong time management abilities - organizing tasks in a logical and efficient manner allowing for multi-tasking and making appropriate calls on prioritization
