Pearson is looking for Oracle ERP Technical or Functional Analyst to join or global team. In this role, you will work with resources across the globe and partner with business customers, and other technical teams.
Strong experience in Oracle HR or HCM, and one or more the following business domains: General Ledger GL, Project Accounting PA and Project Billing, and Revenue Recognition, Order Management OM OTC, Trading Community Architecture TCA, Advanced Pricing, Procurement or Shipping.
Willingness to explore, learn and keep up with new functionality introduced by Oracle and make recommendations.
Ability to communicate professionally, clearly, and effectively to different target audiences and stakeholders.
Build partnerships with Pearson internal business customers, technical teams, and vendors.
Proactive in seeking information, challenging norms, and driving efficiency.
Demonstrates the ability to effectively assess and resolve issues and problems with a high level of internal drive and professional accountability.
Strong customer service bias with the ability to generate respect and trust from staff and external constituencies.
Key Skills/ Experience:
5+ Years of demonstrable hands-on experience implementing and or supporting Oracle HR.
3+ Years of demonstrable hands-on experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite modules in one or more of the areas: Finance, Project Accounting, Order Management, Supply Chain, or Procurement.
Experience with PL/SQL, and one or more of the following, HDL, HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas, BIP Reporting and Approvals.
Proficient in system configuration, with hands on experience in system setup including personalization.
Support Oracle upgrades or point releases with experience involving impact analysis and regression testing.
Experience working in a matrixed and virtual environment with a global customer base and different cultures.
