This position is on a team that develops and maintains candidate-facing web and mobile e-commerce solutions that are designed to serve a global user base. We also offer API products that integrate and support several client applications and platforms to support our customers’ diverse workflows. There is a continuous stream of complex and challenging work with a direct impact on the candidate's experience.
We are looking for a passionate and driven Senior QA Automation Engineer on a high performing agile software development team. You’ll work with a dynamic team comprising of Quality Engineers, Developers, Software Architects, Business Analysts, and Product Managers. You’ll be asked to test software using an automation framework, create reports, perform software analysis, perform functional, regression and performance testing, apply black box and white box testing techniques and become a subject matter expert in your teams’ owned applications. You will also be asked to lead the testing automation best practices group and work to enhance and expand the testing frameworks and tools.
Create, review, and execute feature test cases within the automation framework
Collaborate with developers and quality engineers to enhance regression coverage and maintain the automated regression suit
Create, enhance, maintain testing utilities as needed
Create defects and keep the storyboard up to date
Establish and follow industry standard automation testing methodology
Identify process improvements, conduct gap and root-cause analysis, and make recommendations for efficiency to peers and management.
Actively participate in Agile development, testing and CI/CD methodologies
Mentor and train new team members; actively collaborate with others within and outside of the team
Work in an Agile full life-cycle development environment
*Qualifications & Skills *
Ability to test front end and back-end solutions
Experience in automation of web service APIs (REST/SOAP), web interfaces, mobile devices
Experience in creating and socializing automation best practices
Experience performing software evaluations and proof of concept activities
Experience in CI/CD environment
Experience with Git/Bitbucket
Experience in running Test Strategy reviews
Experience in performing code and test case reviews
A high-quality bar: test-driven development, automated testing, test results analysis and troubleshooting to ensure code quality, responsiveness and efficiency
Desire to expand knowledge in many development languages, applications, and tools
Proven ability to quickly learn new processes and tools, business domains and technical applications
Creative problem-solving and effective written/ verbal communication skills
