JOB SUMMARY
The Higher Education Division is looking for a highly motivated and analytically minded Territory Manager, for Ontario/Eastern Canada, with strong customer facing skills. You go above and beyond in servicing your educator customer base and understanding their challenges. You apply your knowledge of Pearson’s portfolio to inform customers of the continuous improvements in our products and how to best leverage them to engage and inspire their students.
In this role, your ability to make long and lasting connections with Pearson customers will be invaluable to creating a customer experience driven by their desired outcomes. You will be the connection with our existing customers to drive renewal and retention and to align their needs to the best possible solution.
As a member of the sales team, you will be responsible for creating strategic plans, owning the end-to-end post-sales/renewal process, and leveraging internal teams to ensure educators are maximizing Pearson capabilities that support learners in their life-long learning journey.

QUALIFICATIONS:

On-line literacy, experience and aptitude to work with new technologies
Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Competitive desire to exceed goals and grow territory
Strong business planning and prospecting abilities
Able to work independently
Willingness to travel
Valid driver’s license
Previous Sales Experience
