Pearson Remote Web Analyst in Toronto, Ontario

Summary

The Remote Web Analyst collaborates with team members and various functions to help drive campaign strategy, optimize performance, communicate results and identify and execute testing opportunities.

General Responsibilities

Responsibilities are applicable based on the position focus/channel

  • Execute the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions.

  • Build dashboards to measure, track and interpret company KPIs/OKR’s, and identify deviations from objectives.

  • Collects and analyzes data on established and prospective customers, competitors, and marketing channels/sources.

  • Prepares reports that interpret consumer behavior, market opportunities/conditions, marketing results, trends, and investment levels.

  • Investigates & evaluates marketing methods, consumer insights, advertising channels, and their results in an effort to continually improve results.

  • Prepares & presents materials/findings both internally and externally for the marketing focus/channel he or she supports.

  • Provides insights which facilitate the development of plans for partner promotion

  • Executes against partner marketing plans to deliver results that exceed defined objectives

  • Provides World Class Marketing Client Service Management by creating synergies with our internal teams & Academic Partners which empower us to exceed our objectives.

  • Creates buy­in from multiple constituents in a collaborative cross functional environment

  • Collects and analyzes primary and secondary data to highlight industry trends, consumer demographics, preferences, etc.

  • Conducts the execution of primary research projects including survey design, methodology, sample design and analysis for inclusion in memos, report, brochures and other sales materials.

General Qualifications

  • 4-year degree from an accredited institution in Market Research, Statistics, Behavioral Sciences, or equivalent discipline OR appropriate combination of experience and education

  • Experience in designing and authoring reports/dashboards using Tableau is required.

  • Experience writing complex queries using SQL (Preferably Google Big Query).

  • Experience with various analytics platforms such as Google Analytics.

  • Experience with Paid media campaign experience with Google Ads (remarketing display, search) Bing, Yahoo, Facebook, LinkedIn

  • Experience with analyzing consumer behavior, market dynamics such as opportunities and threats.

  • Experience developing and implementing research strategies

  • Experience with survey software such as Survey Monkey, Qualtrics, and or Confirmit

  • Experience managing out-sourced vendors
