We are seeking a product designer to drive and prototype beautiful design across existing and new features for our award-winning, courseware authoring web-applications. You will work closely with the Product Lead to explore and analyse new features and user flows, as well as implement product designs for upcoming features. You will also have autonomy to broadly engage stakeholders in order to analyse requirements, understand needs and scope creative solutions.

Responsibilities include;

  • Deliver designs from concept to release for key product features and flows.

  • Work within an existing design system and extend it to meet future product direction.

  • Create simple solutions to complex technical user flows.

  • Apply fundamental user experience, design and research principles to deliver intuitive customer journeys.

  • Work side-by-side with the design and engineering teams here in Sydney, as well as US-based users and stakeholders to explore and solve challenging user experience problems.

  • Work with end-users in Australia and the US to explore usage patterns and identify real-world solutions.

  • Setup and manage user tests, with internal and external users, to qualify designs and ideas


  • Experience in a Product Design role working with online applications.

  • Demonstrated excellence in creating user flows, interaction patterns and product experiences that align with user needs.

  • Demonstrated excellence simplifying in complex user flows and systems.

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch and InVision, or equivalent tools.

  • Experience in an agile environment.

  • Passion for improving the quality of online learning.

  • Ability to communicate clearly at various levels with end users, developers, and product management
