Description:

SFMC Product Owner is responsible for leading and owning their Pod strategy and execution, covering Marketing Cloud and Conversica. Primary owner of decisions, tasks, and prioritization. Oversees the Visual Designer, Copywriter, and SFMC Tech Analyst. Works hand in hand with Marketing Managers to ensure email request accuracy. Requires background in email marketing and comfort discussing technical issues.

In this role, the person will:

  • Lead and owning the marketing email team vision, strategy and execution. Primary owner of all decisions for the email marketing team.

  • Facilitate requirement gathering meetings, communicate complex business needs into clear, actionable email requirements.

  • Work hand in hand with marketing managers to ensure email request accuracy. Requires background in email marketing and comfort discussing technical issues.

  • Work with clients, business partners and technology partners to identify, define, interpret and clarify scope of problems/issues in terms of business and/or system requirements and processes

  • Manage the email marketing team backlog, prioritization and ensure all deliverables are completed on time.

  • Collaborate with tech analyst and other email contributors to create comprehensive and cohesive solution approaches.

  • Document and maintain operational processes

  • Articulate data requirements and data quality standards

  • Oversee the Visual Designer, Copywriter, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Tech Analyst

  • Quality assurance of email content

  • Evaluate email metrics to report out on their performance and effectiveness

  • Understand and analyze campaign data in order to modify campaign strategy

  • Understand the journey creation process and be able to provide journey feedback

  • Documenting and sharing lessons learned

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • SFMC Email Specialist Certification

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in email marketing strategy, including campaign strategy

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Salesforce

  • Experience with Agile methodology, including Scaled Agile for Enterprise (SAFe)

  • At least 4 of years experience in business process and/or requirements gathering

  • Experience working in a business process team and coordinating process efforts

  • Ability to perform efficiently within a high pressure, fast-paced environment.

  • Enterprise business solutioning experience for large corporations
