Summary (This rolecan be remote for specific locations/states listed below)
The primary purpose of the Process Improvement Analystis to analyze, determine, coordinate, and implement continuous process improvements (CPI) to achieve end-to-end business optimization of moderately complex business processes and systems. Research internal processes and capabilities to improve Return on Investment (ROI), enhance the effectiveness of the business and/or services and react effectively to business needs with moderate latitude for discretion. Provide guidance and advice to management on the most efficient use of resources to obtain positive and measurable results. Design or create moderately complex process improvement functions and/or tools for all of Pearson Online Learning Services.
Responsibilities
Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
Utilize business process reengineering (BPR) techniques, model business processes, and conduct data analysis to examine end-to-end business processes to improve efficiency and operations
Provide follow-up to monitor the progress of planned improvement implementation to assure timely action, support and achieve expected benefits
Collaborate with functional areas to develop and maintain performance metrics, measurements, methods and targets
Obtain and analyze quantitative and qualitative data of business processes to determine solutions and promote data driven decisions
Research and evaluate opportunities related to process flow variance deficiencies
Analyze processes and workflows to understand value chain, input/output, to improve and/or automate business performance
Leverage best practices gained through process improvement activities to other activities which would benefit from implementation
Analyze, define, and document technical design for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating systems environment, interface with other systems, internal and external controls and output
Provide guidance and advice to management on the most effective and efficient use of resources to obtain measurable process improvements
Ensure the implementation of new and enhanced processes
Ensure business unit awareness of POLS products, services, policies and procedures
Identify and assess business strategies and opportunities; develop appropriate analytical approaches
Full understanding of life-cycle project management
Provide subject matter expertise and assist leading project teams
Risk, Issue and Change management
Collaborate with internal business partners to facilitate, design, and create enterprise level tools required for internal solutions using existing platforms such as SharePoint, PowerApps, and other Office 365 solutions.
Monitor key performance indicators, determine gaps in performance metrics, and recommend/execute change management techniques for efficiency/quality improvements

Qualifications
Qualifications
4-year degree from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience
Lean Six Sigma certification (L-6S) or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
Knowledge in and experience with Microsoft O365 suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Forms, OneNote, PowerApps, PowerFlow, and Vizio) and basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JSON
Experience with implementing SharePoint based design and workflows preferred
Working knowledge of process mapping/modeling and business process reengineering
Experience in leading teams in business process improvement initiatives
Ability to utilize data to improve process and gain efficiency.
Completes work with a limited degree of supervision.
Knowledge of project management concepts, tools and activities, including Smartsheet, MS Office, requirements analysis and facilitation.
Proven ability to manage complex large-scale projects under significant constraints.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills; demonstrated ability to establish positive working relationships at all levels of the organization
Experience in leading teams in business process improvement initiatives
