The sales coordinator is responsible for supporting the Clinical Assessment Division on a variety of tasks that are directly linked to the successful achievement of Pearson sales targets and goals. The Sales Coordinator will also be responsible for researching and prospecting new business for the Clinical Assessment division.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support

  • Planning, analyzing and tracking using Pearson’s internal Customer Relationship Management and ERP systems

  • Building account profiles, product conversion lists and calling campaigns for Clinical Assessment division: across Healthcare, Education, Private Practice, and Government Agency/Crown Corporation accounts

  • Assist with sales presentations and reports when requested

  • Writing accurate and grammatically correct sales correspondence

  • Sales Support

  • Inside sales activity for Field Sales Team

  • Executing sales and marketing campaigns including outbound dialing to targeted account lists

  • Support for vacant territories

  • Responding to customer requests as needed

  • Selling into smaller accounts

  • Other Duties and special projects as they are assigned

Qualifications

  • Completion of a university degree, or commensurate experience

  • Sales experience is an asset

  • Sales aptitude is a must –understanding of sales performance behaviours and metrics

  • Minimum travel is required during peak selling seasons, however willingness to travel is desirable

  • Previous customer service experience is desirable

  • Bilingualism (English & French) is an asset

  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills with a customer service approach

  • Proficient with computers; including hands on experience with Microsoft Word, Salesforce, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

  • Exceptional organizational skills, detail-oriented and strong ability to multi-task

  • Adaptable problem-solver and team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment as well as working independently

  • Ability to work under strict deadlines
