Purpose of the position
Reporting to theProgram Manager – Strategic initiatives in Australia and working closely with the Product Team based in Australia and Noida , you will be responsible for a range of product, data information and administrative tasks to enable effective decision-making and commercial success. Key responsibilities
Product Data Management - PDH
Become the local business expert for the Product Data Hub and associated workflows
Item creation (creating product data for local titles)
Item adoption (selling global title locally, process)
Product data maintenance
Assume responsibility for inputting and maintaining critical product data across local and adopted titles
Contracts and IPM
Become the local business expert for systems that support contracts namely within IPM and iProcurement
Creating booking deals in IPM
Manage creation and provision of royalty and fee-for-service agreements with authors and other contributors
Adaptation agreements for adapting titles
Suspense clearance management
Liaising with legal on complex contracts
Archiving of all contracts into Alfresco sites
Payments
Manage supplier payment process for the product team, including new supplier onboarding
Creating, processing, tracking and maintaining Purchase Orders
Track and troubleshoot regular royalty payments for authors and other payments
Managing subject matter expert (SME) and Development Editor payments
Other administration
Organising author advances (6 per author) and contributor copies (1 per contributor)
PLR – Public Lending Rights: Each year submit a request for published titles
Essential experience and competencies
Excellent organisational, communication and relationship management skills
Some experience of data management and bespoke in-house data systems
Intermediate IT skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Team player with high emotional intelligence
Ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritise effectively
Creative problem solver
Excellent attention to detail
Experience using AdobeSign (desirable)
