Role Overview and Purpose

The Royalties PMO Reporting & Metrics Lead role supports the Global Rights & Royalties PMO through resource & project reporting to ensure accurate understanding of project status, progress, risks & issues. This role will also be responsible for delivering standard metrics / Key Performance Indicator (KPI) detail on a regular basis.

The Rights & Royalties teams have recently undergone significant transformation in both core systems, as well as the location and scale of the operational support teams. The group’s main objective continues to be the production of financially accurate and timely royalty statements. The Royalties PMO Reporting & Metrics Lead will need to hit the ground running, in a fast paced & complex environment, to help ensure that standard reporting & metrics tracking is made available for the department. This will include creating & managing dashboard reports to support Global Rights & Royalties management on key reporting needs, as well as assist in the development and evolution of standard KPIs for the department.

The Royalties PMO Reporting & Metrics Lead will need to provide regular management status updates, both written & verbal to Global Rights & Royalties leadership and will also need to feed regular reports / metrics to the various governance bodies in place for Global Rights & Royalties.

This role will require a keen attention to detail, as well as logical and critical thinking skills. It will be essential for this individual to have strong planning & organizational skills, and a background in accounting or royalties is a plus.

The role will be responsible for:

  • Implementing a management framework for standard royalty metrics / KPIs

  • Analysing documentation, data, and metrics to identify risk, performance and quality issues, and significant variances and trends

  • Participating in department-wide working group calls on risk or quality

  • Managing various sources of data in order to produce reports for senior management.

  • Creating documentation of all the reports for smoothen operations and easy report maintenance

  • Understand Management problems and create standard operating procedures document

The role will report within the Global Rights & Royalties Program Management Office and be based in Noida.

Working Pattern / Hours

  • May be required to work UK or US hours, for better overlap with Development teams & Royalties Change, Comms & Training Lead.

  • Remote work is generally acceptable, but it is expected that when needed, individual will be easily able to work out of a central Pearson location.

Skills/Experience:

  • 4-7 years of PMO experience in a financial or transactional working environment.

  • Adept at working at pace and under pressure, and in managing multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Ability to absorb large amounts of complex information and simplify communication depending on audience (Business / Technology / Leadership)

  • Ability to work in a team

  • Technical proficiencies in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word, and SharePoint

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community

  • Proven analytical experience with developing, analyzing, & reporting information

  • Keen attention to detail

  • Should have experience in V-lookup, Macros and pivots
