How You’ll Make An Impact
As an Identity Architect you will be a senior technical member of the Security Engineering and Architecture function, which is one of the key pillars within the Chief Information Security Office (CISO). You will lead Pearson’s internal identity strategy and set the short and long term technical direction for the company. The strategy set by this individual will influence all aspects of Pearson’s strategy such as cloud, network, endpoint and datacenter. This is a high visibility, high impact role that will interact with a wide variety of stakeholders from other technical experts to senior executives across Pearson.
What You’ll Do
Use your deep understanding of identity technologies to assess Pearson’s current identity environment and develop a long term strategy that supports Pearson’s objectives.
Use your experience with cloud to act as the lead identity architect for the best way to use identity within AWS & Azure with key consideration for federation, automation, privileged access management and privileged session management within a CI/CD & DevOps environment.
Use your deep experience with enterprise identity processes to help improve Pearson’s joiners, movers and leavers process using Active Directory, Oracle Fusion and any peripheral identity services.
Help execute Pearson’s Zero Trust strategy by leveraging concepts such as “identity as the new perimeter”, “risk based authentication”, “least privilege”, and “cloud first”.
Use your broad knowledge of security and deep knowledge of identity to act as a representative for CISO to review and approve submissions to Architecture Review Boards.
Use your leadership skills to influence decision makers, gain buy in and consensus from key stakeholders across Pearson and to set an example within the CISO organization.
Use your passion for technology to think outside the box and revolutionize the way the CISO organization and ultimately Pearson approaches identity and security.
