Pearson VUE offers a great environment to start or grow your career and we are now hiring for a casual Test Administrator to join our team in remote office, or such other location as may be directed from time to time.

Your Opportunity

The Test Administrator position is responsible for providing a secure exam delivery and superior customer service in a comfortable friendly environment. The appointed individual will perform the administration and invigilation of exams; this includes understanding, implementing and taking ownership of all aspects of the operational policies and procedures of all examination processes. In this position, you will be required to:

  • Provide a high level of customer service and ensure candidate needs are met with understanding and respect

  • Comply with all testing procedures and strictly adhere to company policies using careful judgment

  • Prepare for candidate(s), including those that may have special needs

  • Periodically download and review scheduled exams

  • Check in testing candidates, verify identification, and respond to candidate queries

  • Ensure the integrity and security of the tests are maintained

  • Proctor / invigilate candidates while they are testing

  • Troubleshoot with internal departments to resolve issues

  • Create a record of any incidents that arise

  • Undertake all accreditations and skills checks as required by the business

  • Experience in a customer facing role

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal,

  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Must enjoy working with people, be comfortable in a quiet environment,

  • Must have effective time management skills, and be able to work effectively under pressure

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are required

  • Must be Pearson VUE certified for a Testing Administrator and pass a re-certification annually to ensure that skills are kept current

  • PC literate, comfort with the use of Microsoft Office and Windows applications

Working Requirements

Our ideal candidate demonstrates teamwork, with the availability to work a variety of shifts any day Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8am and 5.30pm. You should be open to flexible scheduling.

This is strictly acasual position and will remain as such, approximately 10-20 hours per week with an expectation to work more hours if needed. Schedules will be available at least 2 weeks in advance.
