The role: Working closely with the test delivery team, program and account management, and global staff, the Supervisor, Global Channel Capacity is responsible for strategic event scheduling and management tasks as well as day-to-day oversight of event and on-demand scheduling activities.
The Supervisor, Global Channel Capacity is also responsible for overseeing the creation and implementation of scheduling strategies, with the team entering, then posting operational schedule(s) in the testing system(s) accurately and providing training, documentation, and auditing support for assigned test centers. Additionally, the Supervisor, Global Channel Capacity will ensure that contractual obligations are achieved by monitoring testing schedules, hours of site availability and candidate volumes and to post notices to the business pertaining to scheduling changes that impact the delivery capabilities of the channel.
What you will do:
Lead a team of capacity analysts, providing them with capacity management mentoring, training, direction and support for the company-owned sites ensuring that the team are forecasting and producing other work product on correct horizons and to meet KPI compliance and client expectations.
Perform analysis and coordinate with program management and business development to determine event solutions for all event-based clients as well as to resolve any client escalations for on-demand or event-based clients.
Provide support of non-departmental projects by providing expertise, reporting, analysis, documentation and strategic planning where and when needed.
Proactively manage customer expectations and requirements ensuring the capacity and analysis needs are met to agreed timescales and standards of accuracy.
Monitor and report on site utilization, ensuring monthly and annual goals, as set by the business, are met.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience in data analysis and documentation/data reporting, specifically manipulating large amounts of information in Excel to extra data results and being able to execute existing queries as well as edit and write new queries in SQL.
Thorough knowledge and demonstrable understanding of the end-to-end capacity management and planning process with experience in assessments, test centre, education, airline, hotel, or similar industries with a capacity focus.
Strong attention to detail and organization skills, as well as an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to solve complex problems using strong analytical and decision-making skills, then using excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain the problem to the business.
Experience in supervising or leading a team and ability to operate within a team concept effectively, and fostering a unified team spirit.
