The SCRUM master will lead an internal team as well as development partners through the delivery of Pearson projects and products. The role includes processing definition, Agile Scrum based Software development along with cross functional communication, software technical project management, requirements traceability, source code control, test case management and defect tracking.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work with Product Owner to break down project requirements into actionable design and developer tasks

  • Liaise with stakeholders and provide updates on project progress

  • Coach and mentor project team to facilitate SCRUM adoption and maturity

  • Manage partnerships with external vendors

  • Lead and influence others on best practice

Qualifications

  • Practical understanding of Agile SCRUM methodology with the ability to align team members and stakeholders to Agile principles and behaviours

  • Able to manage teams and provide direction

  • Experience performing complex tasks or working on large and complex projects.

  • Education knowledge/experience (University or Educational technology providers) preferred but not essential

  • Proven stakeholder and vendor engagement and management experience
