The Research Assistant will support aspects of the research and development of projects related to the publication of clinical assessments for the Australian and New Zealand industry for Pearson Clinical Assessment. These projects and responsibilities include cultural/language test adaptation, test standardisation, norm development, test development, participant and site recruitment and coordination, equivalency and validation research, digital development, ethics applications, literature reviews, data management, as well as various administrative tasks related to the research and development process.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and distributing research materials

  • Supporting the recruitment for the research projects as required and maintaining up-to-date stakeholder communication

  • Ethics submission writing, editing and proof-reading and editing of manuscripts and reports

  • Providing project administrative support as required including data entry and data management

  • Other duties as required related to the adaptation, development, and publication of clinical assessments.

Qualifications

  • Mandatory - Minimum fourth year University qualification in psychology or related allied health field

  • Preferable - Demonstrated experience in providing independent coordination of research fieldwork

  • Mandatory - Proactive, problem solving approach.
