We’re looking for an experienced Project Training Manager to join Pearson on a fixed term contract to coordinate all elements of training for a large, complex enterprise system implementation and eCommerce upgrade, including training plans, material development and delivery
In this hands-on role, you will ensure training requirements are accurately captured and actioned so that all impacted end users have the knowledge and competency to adopt the new systems, policies and processes. Key to this role is your ability to work collaboratively with a global team, apply critical thinking and ensure users are ready to perform their roles.
You will report to Change, Communications and Training (CCT) Lead.
Conduct Training Needs Analysis with support of Change Managers
Ensure training modules are accurately mapped to system roles, and end users are mapped to courses based on their system roles
Develop pre and post go-live training delivery plans and schedules
Maintain and improve training standards and content delivery methods (ILT, eLearning, Job Aids, etc)
Coordinate and drive training material development and quality assure content/materials in line with program standards
Proactively coordinate training administration/logistics including end user course enrolment
Prepare and analyse training reports
Develop and administer assessments for competency and track results. Utilise feedback to improve content and delivery methods
Work with the CCT Lead to ensure training activities align with change, communication and role mapping activities
Previous experience developing, coordinating and leading training end-to-end on large-scale projects, preferably an ERP implementation.
Demonstratable experience with a system role-based training model
Experience of schedule creation and maintenance
Experience in assessment and measurement of training needs specific to changes in business processes and systems
Advanced knowledge and experience of training methods, tactics and software, including authoring tools, content development and training evaluation
Ability to quickly understand ERP applications and business processes and apply that knowledge to developing and delivering excellent content
Open to flexible hours to accommodate different time zones
