The Learning Futures and Innovation (LFI) team sits within the Digital Learning and Innovation unit of the Pearson University Partnerships department, supporting both university partners and other clients as they move into, or expand, their digital learning and teaching offerings.

We have an opportunity for an engaging, flexible and collaborative education professional to lead our professional development services area, focused on digital learning and teaching capability development within the Higher Education sector. You will apply your extensive experience of contemporary online learning pedagogies/andragogies in designing, developing and delivering innovative professional development products and programs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience designing and delivering online and/or blended learning in higher education and corporate sectors.

  • A postgraduate qualification in Learning Design, Teaching, Education or related field, OR equivalent years of education and successful work experience in Learning Design, teaching in Higher Education or other adult learning environment.

  • Extensive experience in the application of contemporary online learning pedagogies/andragogies in the design and development of digital professional development learning experiences.

  • Excellent writing, communication, leadership & commercial acumen skills.

  • Experience in academic delivery

  • Strong analytical, logic and problem–solving skills for analysing and identifying user needs, proposing solutions and logically organising complex information.

  • Strong ability to work on multiple, complex projects, to multi-task and continually prioritise changing project tasks / deliverables, and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to transform complex bodies of information into professionally designed, engaging and effective programs.
