Pearson Unbundled Learning Services is a new team within our APAC University Partnerships (UP) Division. This team will be responsible for leading the activities driving our custom learning offerings for clients across the APAC region.
We have a 12 month fixed-term contract opportunity for a Custom Learning Development Lead. This role will be responsible for leading and managing a project team of learning development professionals in the successful completion of client learning development projects.
Applying the relevant design models and processes, you will use your highly developed technical and eLearning/Digital Development skills to work with the client to create a project brief that fits the agreed development and technical specifications and outcomes for the project. You will then act as the primary client contact for the digital development and production aspects, to ensure that the work required for each project is delivered on time, to the required quality standard and within the project brief.
This will include:
Acting as key client liaison for all digital development project activities, including during progress meetings and presentations both before and during project execution.
Preparing project briefs for technical eLearning,multimediastaff and 3rd party vendors working on the project.
Providing feedback and coaching/mentoring project team members to ensure required tasks are completed on time and to the quality required.
ProjectManaging the detailed digital development and production activities, timelines and resources as required within each project, ensuring these are reported back to other members of the project team and coordinating these tasks with other project activities.
Reviewing and evaluatingthe quality and value of vendor proposals and estimations.
A diploma or degree in Multimedia/Design/IT or equivalent together with demonstrated skills inmultimedia design, illustration, video productionmultimedia animation and development.
At least 4years practical experienceand proficiencyin developing objects for educational learning environments.
Strong interpersonal skills, especially written and oral communications skills, including being able to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with SME’s, technical staff, project managers, 3rdparty vendors and collaborate both in person and long distance.
Analytical, logic and problem–solving skills for analysing and identifying user needs, proposing solutions and logically organising complex information.
