The role - Digital Product Manager - 12 month fixed term contract

  • The purpose of this role is to drive the delivery of innovative digital learning resources within the Schools division of Pearson Australia. This role is a key intersection between K-12 content owners and the technology delivery teams. You will be responsible for leading K-12 curriculum aligned digital learning products to support Australian learners and drive market share.

  • Key responsibilities:

  • Build and drive a product roadmap to ensure strategic revenue objectives for your digital products

  • Collaborate with UX, teachers and students, and a wide array of stakeholders to build products that enhance the teaching and learning experience of Pearson’s digital users

  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders (internal and external) to research and capture requirements

  • Partner with content specialists and education stakeholders to research and capture requirements

  • Conduct testing activities including usability testing and quality assurance

About you

You’re a data driven Product Manager who firmly believes that happy users lead to business success. You’re ready to tackle everything that comes with digital transformation in a large organisation because you can lead by example in all things Agile, and good product development practice. Within the space of an hour, you have no trouble presenting your ideas to business stakeholders, and then huddling around detailed technical requirements with your Scrum team. You’re excited by the opportunity of delivering the next wave of digital products to Australian schools.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required

  • Hands-on product management experience with a high degree of personal accountability

  • Experience in digital learning with a K-12 focus (highly regarded)

  • Results-oriented professional with strong work ethic

  • A team player who has a proven track record of producing quality educational solutions.
