We are looking for an Implementation Project Manager to join the Pearson Operations team to manage the ‘end to end’ onboarding experience and enabling new program launches with new partnerships.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the early inception and initiation of project with business owners

  • Acting as primary point of contact for overseeing and enabling new program launches and ensuring services frameworks are in place to deliver long term program success,

  • Responsible for developing comprehensive launch plans delivering on launch contributions.

  • Work collaboratively across functional teams within University Partnerships and the broader Pearson business

  • Provide insight and leadership on improved practice for ongoing launch activities to define a strong commercial basis and clear outcomes and impact for the change.

  • Ensuring change management activities are integrated into project plans.

  • Manage changes effectively through the business

  • Managing the end to end delivery of the project

  • Stakeholder management of local teams, global function stakeholders and 3rd party companies involved in supporting the initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Project management experience in managing small to medium-sized cross-functional teams

  • Change management experience

  • Proven track record of influencing senior level management and stakeholders

  • Ability to respond confidently to conflicts and manage situations positively, proactively escalating on-going issues

  • Strong organisation skills: Self organizing and self-motivation and management

  • Strong academic grounding – good undergraduate degree (desirable)

  • PRINCE Practitioner/PMI or equivalent
