Direct/Field Sales Representative

Description

We are looking for a person who will be responsible for promoting and selling the Clinical products to customers all over Spain, mainly psychologists and other related professionals who work in the clinical, educational, neuropsychological, forensic and healthcare settings.

Core tasks and responsibilities:

  • Makes market research and prospects new potential customers to promote the Clinical portfolio.

  • Contacts customers face-to-face, by phone, e-mail and social media to inform them about Clinical products and promotions.

  • Makes visits and product presentations to customers interested in Clinical products.

  • Negotiates with customers.

  • Follows the commercial action to track the effectiveness of it and gives post-sale support to the customer, giving technical advice.

  • Implements the strategy and follows the marketing campaigns and special offers.

  • Executes the activities included in the Sales and Marketing Plan.

  • Contributes to deliver the financial goals, taking in to account the 5-year Strat Plan.

  • Solves all the queries escalated by the Customer Service agents.

  • Gives webinars and on-site trainings for specialized groups of customers.

  • Attends conferences, meetings and other events both from a commercial and technical (as a speaker) perspective.

  • Gives his/her best to increase customer satisfaction.

Key relationships:

  • Gives continuous feedback to the Sales Manager about activities and opportunities, delivering records of visits.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, working with other departments to facilitate relationships and improve effectiveness.

  • Works together with marketing to help creating content for marketing products, as well as giving feedback to improve marketing approaches.

  • Supports CS teams (internal and external) to increase customer satisfaction.

  • Works close to R&D to decide different aspects about the product so they fulfil customer needs.

  • Great social, communication and negotiation skills to deal with customers and convince them about the suitability of using Pearson products in their assessments processes.

  • Good training skills to promote products and gain customers loyalty.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent (Psychology).

  • Sales experience as a consultant.

  • Provable knowledge about assessment in Psychology, Education and other related fields.

  • Experience using assessment tools in Psychology or related fields.

  • Fluent in English and Spanish both written and spoken.

Desirable:

  • Comprehensive experience of working in a similar capacity within the psychological and educational industry.

  • Experience in customer service.

  • Excellent training skills.

  • Formal marketing training.
