About the role

This is an exciting role in which you will develop and execute marketing campaigns to grow the awareness and perception of Pearson BTEC among our key school audience. Together with the Marketing Manager you will help create a solid reputation for Pearson BTEC among consumers (learners, adults, parents), and customers (teachers and tutors) through effective marketing campaigns.

What you’ll be doing

  • Proactively building clear campaign plans and reports and presenting these to internal stakeholders

  • Executing those plans through marketing campaigns multi-channel campaigns (e.g. press, print, DM, email, social, sales, websites, PPC, display, etc.) to enhance the awareness and the positive equity of the BTEC brand among key audiences

  • Executing a social strategy to engage learners and educators with the BTEC brand

  • Assisting with the administration of educator events and conferences

  • Working with a wide array of stakeholders, including external agencies and influencers

  • Proactive monitoring & analysis of campaign data to ensure marketing effectiveness & drive performance

  • Create and share plans and activities to ensure the efficient and timely deployment of all campaigns, deliver with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ensure that all communications are technically accurate, include key messages and connect with customers in an engaging way

  • Demonstrating copywriting & proofing skills, creativity and excellent communications with a customer-focused mindset and a 'can do' attitude.

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

You will be a customer-focused marketer who is happy to get stuck in, who enjoys collaborating with others to develop and deliver high-quality marketing campaigns. The key skills we are looking for are :

  • Experience of planning, developing and delivering B2B multi-channel marketing campaigns, ideally to deliver direct revenue or lead generation.

  • Confidence in campaign tracking and evaluation including data analytics

  • Great copywriting skills

  • Ability to build & maintain strong stakeholder relationships plus strong communication skills

  • High levels of organisation and attention to detail

  • A positive and proactive attitude, and a passion for education and learning, both as an industry and when it comes to your own development
