Pearson HE&I Engagement Team Administrator (part-time) in London, United Kingdom

Pearson is the world’s learning company, and we are looking for a talented HE&I Engagement Team Administrator to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating and administering key aspects of Pearson’s Licensed Higher Nationals (HNs), improving processes and using data driven insights to assist in decision making. You will work closely with the Licensed Higher National Partnerships Manager and be the first point of contact for colleagues, as well as external customers, namely Higher Education institutions.

What you'll do

  • Operate and administer key aspects of Pearson's Licensed Higher Nationals (HNs)

  • Improve processes and use data driven insights to assist in decision making

  • Work closely with the Licensed Higher National Partnerships Manager

  • Be the first point of contact for colleagues, as well as external customers, namely Higher Education institutions

  • Support a range of activities relating to Licensed HNs, including, but not limited to, organising online webinars (twice yearly), attending meetings and collating and analysing feedback

Key responsibilities :

  • Supporting the Licensed Higher National Partnerships Manager in the day-to-day operations and processes related to Licensed HNs, including inbox management, database management and communications duties, including the quarterly newsletter

  • Managing external/internal queries (via Microsoft Teams, OneCRM, email, etc.) addressed to the Licensed HN team

  • Undertaking all administrative duties, especially in relation to partner and programme approvals

  • Liaising, advising and guiding internal Pearson teams/colleagues, e.g., Centre Management for approvals, Customer Services for EOL training, Subject Leads

  • Ensuring web-based information is relevant and up to date

  • Arranging meetings and agendas, preparation of accurate minutes of meetings and follow up actions

  • Raising (manual) invoices, ensuring payments are made

  • Maintaining internal trackers and SharePoint documents, folders, etc.

  • Reporting on financial progress via internal data management systems

  • Monitoring and reporting on approvals and registrations via internal data systems

  • Contributing to the review, amendment and implementation of improved procedures, processes and standards that increase efficiency and effectiveness

  • Reviewing partner websites, mainly for compliance

  • Running and owning external webinars for customers/potential customers

  • Analysing and reporting on feedback

  • Attending meetings with customers as required

  • Conducting any additional administrative tasks as required

Qualifications

Required skills/experience

Essential:

  • Proven ability to handle queries from multiple sources efficiently and effectively

  • Working knowledge of database and Customer Relationship Management systems

  • Understanding and experience of managing relationships with stakeholders

  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills and an ability to work with people at all levels, both internally and externally.

  • Good organisation skills and attention to detail

  • An ability to think laterally in solving problems, to challenge entrenched thinking and to make judgements on significant new problems where precedent may not apply

  • An ability to work independently, as well as within a team

  • An ability to work within a rapidly changing environment

  • High standards of professionalism, customer focus and creativity

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in a higher education institution or similar environment

  • Experience of working with quality assurance and/or assessment policies and processes
