Head of Qualifications Technology Services

General Qualifications and Vocational Qualifications

UK based - Hybrid Work

Responsible for:

  • Running Pearson’s General and Vocational regulated and non-regulated Qualifications Portfolio, ensuring exam series run to schedule and quality criteria

  • Ensuring live Qualifications Services are performant, available and secure

  • Managing Service Incidents, Planned Change, Releases etc

  • Product and Service Ownership for Qualifications Services UK and International

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience of delivering a complex suite of tech and digital Services in a regulated environment

  • Experience of designing and delivering user-centered solutions to the market at pace

  • Experience of building coherent Service Lines (multi-product and multi-system environments) to improve the user experience

  • Practitioner of Agile and Waterfall delivery

  • Knowledge of GQ and VQ qualifications’ customer and user needs

  • Knowledge of competitors and the global markets in which Pearson Qualifications Services operate

  • Skilled in managing and improving supplier performance

  • Ability to work alongside Qualifications Services leaders and business leaders to co-create solutions to business problems
