The key functions of this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • User administration and role management

  • Demand management for new implementations

  • Document and manage business cases for new deployments

  • Project management of the new deployments, including communications

  • Configuration within CVENT system for meeting set up, conferences, virtual trainings

  • Serve as primary contact for the vendor for changes, upgrades, licensing, strategic roadmap and quarterly business reviews

  • Coordinate meetings between platform owners of PMC, One CRM, etc.

  • Drive global consistency in use of tool and integrations with other strategic platforms

Qualifications

BA or BS degree (or equivalent 4 - 6 years of meetings industry experience) plus at least 5 years meeting planning and/or IT experience

  • Technology proficient, understands the use of web-based applications and has a general understanding of database concepts (for reporting purposes)

  • General understanding of meeting-related business processes

  • Solid communication skills to execute on training and roll-out tasks

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail necessary for data management anddocumentation

  • Could be a current system user with a high degree of proficiency and time adequate enough to manage the responsibilities of this position plus other duties

  • Needs to be able to collaborate with other departments such as IT, Procurement and Travel and business stakeholders

  • Needs to be able to dedicate a minimum of 90 minutes per week during the implementation to standing calls plus another hour or two for collecting deliverables/ gaining consensus / documenting information and requirements

  • Proficient use of Smartsheets

  • Project management experience ideally IT PM
