The Workforce Skills Transformation, Portfolio and planning team is seeking an experienced project manager to lead projects within a Commercial and Sales Transformation program.
Being able to problem solve, lead in ambiguity, and collaborate across global teams is essential, as this role will partner across various WFS teams, disciplines and timezones, and will work with many different functions and third party providers.
Project managing priority WFS initiatives, in partnership with the business sponsor, leading the team through the successful mobilization and execution of the program
Maintaining control of the overall project and providing visibility and transparency on progress through reporting and meetings to key senior stakeholders and team members
Collaborating effectively with key stakeholders and team members and maintaining good relationships to support the delivery and adoption of the project
Creating, driving and tracking project plans with flexibility and adaptability to change the plans/deliverables in order to align to the needs and priorities within the programme/initiative
Run daily standups with programme leads
Holding people to account, to ensure deliverables are met within defined timeframes through project tracking and agreed outcomes
Escalate and own mitigation plans for any element of the project that is not running to plan
Oversee other project managers, where applicable, to ensure goals are met
Facilitate/Coordinate ad hoc meetings between the different squads and teams dependent on the priorities and cross-over activities
Manage and maintain project artefacts which include:
Smartsheet project plans
Dashboards and reporting
Issue, risk and dependency logs
Document repository within SharePoint
Slide decks, meeting agendas/minutes, etc.
Business case and financial plans
- Plan and write project communications:
Programme Working Group Comms
Change comms in overarching WFS programme
Who we’re looking for:
Experienced project manager with successful delivery experience in complex projects
Experience and understanding of commercial, sales and marketing transformation and operations highly desirable
Experience of delivering in highly flexible and evolving environments, where change and transformation and the focus on people impact, is critical
Ability to work well with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally
Someone with strong commercial skills, as the primary programme will be managing sales and customer teams across a transformation programme.
Experience leading cross functional, global teams
Ability to lead through ambiguity and move deliverables forward
Strong communicator to keep stakeholders informed and teams accountable for outcomes
A quick learner, able to jump in quickly to established projects and processes with little direction
