Background Information:

The UK Qualifications Technology team are transforming our platforms to cloud based, cost effective, scalable and resilient services.


The Analyst Manager leads a team of highly experienced analysts to collaborate with business stakeholders, technical architects, senior developers and other technical SMEs to support the transformation program.

Key Accountabilities :

  • To ensure all analytical artefacts e.g. technical stories and data mapping sheets are produced in a consistent and timely manner with a high degree of accuracy and completeness

  • Work with colleagues to ensure requirements are clear and fully understood.

  • Develop strong ties with key business and technology stakeholders to understand the context of the UK qualifications division and help drive solutions for the business

  • Assist with planning of business activities to ensure smooth running of qualifications.

  • Mentor and develop teams to achieve personal development goals whilst supporting the transformation delivery.

Skills and experienced required

  • Understanding of the Agile methodology and experience of using JIRA is an advantage

  • Ability to work independently Influencing, and leadership skills

  • Ability to identify business problems statements, solutions and automation opportunities

  • Ability to build partnerships and work in a collaborative environment

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to motivate and drive tactical execution Self-motivated, enthusiastic with a great appetite to motivate and empower the team.

  • Organisational skills and strong time management.

  • Excellent communication and team management skills
