Marketing & Events Coordinator
Based in London Strand
Permanent & full-time working 37.5 hours per week
Salary up to £23k depending on experience
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, well-organised junior marketing professional with plenty of initiative, ideas and attention to detail, who is looking for exposure to a wide range of marketing activities. The Marketing Assistant will support the wider Marketing & Communications teams in a range of lead generation and brand awareness activities through marketing campaigns, events, research and PR. The role will take responsibility for several key activities, primarily social media (both customer service and content creation), event logistics and administration.
Organising event logistics from initiation to evaluation.
Identifying opportunities around the world to attend events.
Co-ordinating content through our social media channels to raise brand awareness.
Seek to improve our social media impact and engagement, working with wider team.
Co-ordinating customer service responses to candidate social media queries.
Support larger activities and campaigns.
Ownership of team administrative functions such as budget tracking, purchase orders, couriers, suppliers and stock control etc
Support sales with requests for materials, presentations etc as required
Support wider functions such as research and PR.
Our Successful Candidate
We are interested in applicants with excellent verbal, and written skills with a keen interest in events and / or social media.
Must have technical aptitude – ability to learn marketing tools / basic html etc.
Enthusiasm and full of ideas.
Experience in administration in a Marketing or Communications environment.
Skills/experience in one or more of the following: events/social media/copywriting
Comfortable with Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to work on a non-9-to-5 schedule when required.
