Summary

This role is responsible for the financial stability of campaigns. They will interface with all members of the media team to generate purchase orders, collect invoices, and submit to Accounting and reconcile the campaigns with accounting and finance. The AP Specialist partners with the ADMAs to oversee the budget, management, and performance of the entire company’s portfolio. The tole requires excellent organizational and accounting skills. The AP Specialist role requires analytical thinking to identify trends and/or issues across programs, business units and, locations, campaign success will be determined by how accurate each program reconciles with accounting.

General Responsibilities

  • Manage the accounting of all campaigns across the company.

  • Generate, organize, and submit POs to accounting.

  • Work with the accounting team to execute timely and accurate purchase orders.

  • Reconcile campaigns precisely with accounting and finance.

  • Interface with other media specialists including SEO, SEM, Email, Internet Advertising, Social Media, and Online Education Directories.

  • Work with media team to perform detailed financial and performance analysis.

  • Generating and aggregating information for internal and external reports.

Qualifications

  • 4-year degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Business Administration OR appropriate combination of education and significant experience.

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in accounting, finance, and/or project management.

  • Strong analytical skills required.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.

  • Experience in the higher education industry preferred.

  • Experience in Coupa or Oracle preferred.
