eCommerce Project Manager

As an eCommerce Program Manager, you’ll keep an innovative delivery team firing on all cylinders. You will work closely with experienced designers, product managers, and engineering partners to get high-quality products and features built, tested, and released on time. You’ll coordinate many fast-changing, moving parts and get them to come together as a product.

You are responsible for identifying and managing risks, making sound judgments about quality, and stopping (or speeding up) production at the right time. You will play a key role in ensuring that product requirements are captured, managing cross-functional communication and dependencies with other teams, creating, and driving the overall schedule, identifying, and mitigating risk at all stages, and defining the overall rhythm and meeting touchpoints between teams.

You will be flexible to triage incoming reliability, cosmetic, or human factor issues, drive focus during root cause analyses, and manage schedule and execution for the delivery process.

You have demonstrated strong performance in your prior roles; you thrive in ambiguity and demonstrate problem-solving leadership with limited oversight.


  • Track and manage supporting delivery schedules to ensure team success

  • Partner with senior leaders to establish the goals, roadmap, and operational model for how to engage with other cross-functional team members within the business.

  • Collaborate with supporting teams to understand all production timelines and weave them into a single team-wide program management view.

  • Serves a go-to partner for cross-functional project managers, and within the eCommerce workstream

  • Ensure marketing plans support is accounted for and tracked within our schedule

  • Cultivate, negotiate, and manage relationships with cross-functional partners.

  • Ensure Business partner-based roadmap is based on business priorities with macro-view of all supporting workstreams and ensure work delivers on goals.

  • Work with supporting Project Managers to ensure timelines and dependencies are tracked

  • Establish and manage team operating rhythm, including communication structures, project templates, meeting cadence, and review forums.

  • Based on project ambitions create schedules and supporting working team cadence to support successful delivery

  • Understand and coordinate the sequencing of projects to accomplish progress.

  • Flag Resource concerns, or role concerns

  • Facilitate regular project status and review meetings. Ensure right stakeholders and cross-functional team members are involved, document decisions and actions items, and follow up with owners on commitments.

  • Support, and continue to monitor risk to timelines, highlight and report

  • Balance competing priorities and adjust resources, as necessary.


Previous Experience

  • Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced, and performance-focused environments.

  • Experience in managing indirect teams to achieve common goals.

  • 3 years of operations and leadership experience with the ability to challenge and influence a variety of stakeholders.

  • Experience in project management on large-scale software development projects with teams working in multiple worldwide locations.

  • Experience leading teams using Agile frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, and XP, as well as other established project management principles and practices. The ability to adopt and adapt the right project management framework for a given project and proactively identify and execute process improvements project-wide as needed.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to work autonomously.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong emotional intelligence skills, and the ability to adapt content, detail, and approach to match the audience.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - able to work on complex problems where analysis of situations requires an in-depth evaluation of a range of factors.

  • Fantastic attitude. A calming influence during times of stress, a focus on solutions rather than problems, and a desire to get the best out of every team member. Willing to do the little things that make software development teams great.

  • Uphold standards and best practices, ensure the proper processes and tools are applied.
