Pearson Senior Marketing Communications Analyst in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Purpose:

This is a newly created role that will support the Regional Campaign Manager in successful execution of Direct-to-Consumer and Business-to-Business campaigns. You will be responsible for executing campaigns yourself and through appointed marketing agency with speed, agility, and simplicity.

You will be a marketeer with a passion for campaign development and a love of digital and social media.

Every day you will strive to put the consumer/customer at the heart of everything we do.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Be an expert in campaign execution and evaluation:

  • Flawlessly execute local campaigns

  • Lead the localisation and trans-creation of our global campaign kit into local market language.

  • Act as a working contact with the local agency team to deliver high quality work at pace.

  • Actively use the global campaign score card to gain deep insights into our creative execution and media channel effectiveness. Act on this insight fast, optimising campaigns inflight to maximise return on investment. Share learning across the region.

  • Be our regional digital champion:

  • Working in conjunction with regional media agency to drive traffic to our website through an always on SEO and PPC approach.

  • Work in partnership with our global campaign team to implement our always-on-social activity and work with the regional agency team to compliment global content with locally relevant content. Ensuring all activity on-brand.

  • Help build a winning marketing team:

  • Demonstrate greatbehavioursevery day: always curious, always collaborative with the can-do attitude and a sense of fun.

  • Invest in building great working relationships with both the global and local teams.

Candidate Profile

Competencies

  • Track record of developing and optimising full funnel campaigns, with working understanding of marketing technologies and their best use

  • Strong understanding of local consumer and customer and what it will take to ensure they choose Pearson.

  • Experience in working with/at local marketing, trans-creation or media agencies.

  • Ability to analyse and interpret data to generate insights that enable improving KPIs

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Enthusiastic, passionate, and creative.

  • Action-oriented with a “roll up your sleeves approach”

  • Local language fluency needed in a minimum of 1 x regional language: multiple regional languages would be advantageous.

  • Evident fluency in English Language, being confident in speaking, reading and writing communication.

Education, Qualifications & Training

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent preferred, you may also benefit from holding a professional Marketing qualification.
