About the job

Job Purpose:

Raise awareness of the online masters degrees available from your university partner(s) in new markets;

Build constructive relationships with industry bodies, agents, employers and prospective students in the relevant fields;

Deliver outstanding consultative sales activity and prospective student interaction to achieve recruitment targets for a portfolio of programmes.

Key Accountabilities

  • Effectively represent and grow awareness and enrolment for your partner University across the Middle East;

  • Increase enrolment in assigned programmes by nurturing interested students via phone and in person events;

  • Support students and assist them with the application submission process.This can include assessing qualifications as well as providing support regarding English language testing, access to payment options and the submission of CVs, references and personal statements;

  • Host information sessions online and in person for prospective students for various programmes (engineering, surveying, business, psychology etc);

  • Work with student ambassadors in your region to speak at information sessions with prospective students;

  • Work with local sales teams to build relationships with industry bodies and attend or co-host relevant events to raise awareness of online masters programmes;

  • Work with local sales team to build relationships with employers in the relevant fields and encourage employer scholarships/ sponsorship;

  • Utilise our customised CRM platform to maintain detailed prospective partner activity, student activity and notes for each prospective partner and student in order to deliver a highly engaging personalised experience;

  • Use activity reports and dashboards to monitor and drive personal performance in line with pre-determined sales KPIs and targets;

  • Participate in developing new and innovative ideas for campaigns, workflows and messaging to improve personal and team performance;

Qualifications

Essential skills, qualifications and experience:

  • Excellent at building a B2C

  • Experience in supporting a sales team that is building B2B partner sales funnel; experience in contract negotiations

  • Experience attending trade fairs, planning events and representing a brand in these forums

  • Excellent communication (written and oral), networking and influencing externally and internally (in particular to work effectively with colleagues in Pearson across different sites and within a matrix structure)

  • Relationship building: in particular, with customers, employers, professional bodies, commercial partners, government agencies and within Pearson

  • Degree or equivalent professional qualifications

  • Knowledge of the UK and Middle Eastern HE sector

  • Creative thinking and customer empathy
