Position Summary:
The person in this role will focus on enhancing our brand and building strong online communities through our various social media platforms. The Senior Social Media Content Analyst will be responsible for developing and managing organic social media content that is designed to engage users and create an interactive relationship between interested families and Connections Academy schools. This role is responsible for managing Connections Academy brand social media properties, as well as individual properties for our schools. The successful candidate will also be required to collect, analyze and draw implications from social media data to optimize our content and develop more effective campaigns. We are looking for someone who is passionate about developing compelling social media strategies and content for a brand at the forefront of education.
Primary Responsibilities:
Build and execute bold and visionary organic social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification in support of overarching brand strategy and awareness goals
Generate, edit, publish and share inspiring daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
Create editorial content calendars and syndication schedules; look for opportunities to leverage existing content
Focus on developing content that elevates our brand, our individual schools, and the virtual school category
Build and execute Connections Academy UGC strategy across social channels and implement a process for regularly sourcing engaging UGC
Work closely with the paid social media team and SEO team to develop highly optimized, engaging and relevant social media campaigns that address our target audiences’ core motivations and helps to achieve our strategic goals
Optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
Build engaging communities on social for the individual Connections Academy school pages and create/publish school-specific organic social media posts.
Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, providing insights and implications from content performance, and then acting on the information
Collaborate with other departments (program managers, enrollment, state relations) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions
Co-lead social media testing strategy across platforms and analyze results to broaden reach of content
Develop and execute Connections Academy thought leadership program on social media aimed at elevating their profiles and extending the reach of their expertise
Support cross-functional management, operation and optimization of Sprinklr, Connections Academy’s enterprise social media management platform
Cooperate with PR team to leverage Connections Academy influencers/alumni and education influencers in the development of social media content that supports our editorial calendar
Support PR team to issue company-wide responses to various audiences when unplanned and immediate issues arise.
Support social media moderation efforts in line with the moderation policy for each community
Complete administrative activities in support of the position within established deadlines; and other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
3 years of experience in marketing or related field, with 2 years experience in building, executing social media strategy
Demonstrated continuous learning and discovery regarding ongoing changes to social platforms
Deep knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and TikTok communities and advertising platforms required
Familiarity with enterprise social media management platforms, ie Sprinklr, along with willingness to research new solutions as warranted.
Demonstrated social analytics tools knowledge; ability to explain complex social media data in an understandable way
Proven ability to craft compelling communications that are clear, concise, and conversational and make creative use of text, video and images
Ability to balance the needs of sometimes competing customer bases; comfortable working with all levels of management
Previous PR experience a plus

The anticipated starting salary range for Colorado-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $65k– $90K. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program.
