The K12 Sales Engineer, in collaboration with our Online & Blended Learning business unit, shall engage directly with customers in the following capacity:
Pre and Post Sales technical relationship management
Coordinate RFP technical responses
Second seat on key sales calls to field technical questions regarding platform integrations, technology requirements, and data security.
Point for assigning technical subject matter experts to customer engagements/inquiries through onboarding.
Authoritative and accountable for managing relationships with customer technical points of contact.
Regularly survey customer IT footprint to clear integration and deployment roadblocks
Quarterly calls w/ district partner leadership and IT personnel to gauge overall status of systems and services.
Weekly reviews of district ticket volume (bugs, cases, incidents) to identify blockers / pain points.
Identify orphan issue pathways for district partners and redirect to system owners.
Act as a liaison between customers and software engineering/operations after critical incidents to validate scope and clearance.
Collect data on each customer to inform relationship metrics.
NOTE: Due to Covid 19, this position will be remote-based until pandemic conditions allow us to use our offices safely.
The US K12 Technical account manager role must have excellent communication and organization skills.
3-5 Years Technology Solution Management Experience
1-2 Years Pre/Post Sales Engineering Experience
1-2 Years US K12 Technology and/or Operational Platform Experience
