Pearson Manager - Branding and Communication in Colombo, Sri Lanka

This role involves driving branding initiatives which broadly includes:

  • Developing, executing and assessing the impact of the company’s branding and communication strategy.

  • Developing internal and external communication plans to support business initiatives and manage appropriate delivery of internal and external communications

  • Developing content, campaigns and coordinate internal and external events

  • Collaborating effectively with agencies, service providers and other internal and external stakeholders

  • Managing company’s social media platforms

  • Representing Pearson and networking with industry experts and professional bodies as an ambassador of the Pearson brand

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Management or equivalent professional qualifications. Post Graduate studies in any of the above fields will be advantageous

  • Minimum of 7 years of demonstrated experience in Communications, Marketing, Business Management or other relevant business experience in a large-scale business. Experience in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition will be advantageous

  • Experience building and utilizing social media strategies

  • Strong client and end-user focus

  • Demonstrated Project management and stakeholder management experience

  • Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills

  • Experience in creating and managing budgets
