Position Summary

We are looking for a Senior Technology Recruiter to create and lead effective strategies and processes to identify, source, assess, and recommend the most qualified technology talent for Pearson K12 Learning.

In this role you will be responsible for recruiting and supporting multiple pipelines in our technology organization including Architects, Java Developers, Data Science Engineers, and DevOps Engineers.

The ideal candidate will be based at our location in Chandler, Arizona, or Boston, MA. This role has an expected duration of 3-4 months.

Responsibilities

  • Source, interview, and place technical professionals for all technology positions throughout the organization.

  • Partner with hiring teams to build and execute effective sourcing strategies & approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations

  • Recruit candidates at all levels and understand how to match technical requirements to candidates' skill set and competencies.

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of candidates through on-going relationship management.

  • Ensure a positive experience for all candidates by providing timely, accurate, relevant feedback.

  • Develop and maintain great relationships with hiring managers.

  • Track, maintain, and improve recruitment metrics.

  • Participate in projects and recruiting initiatives (i.e.assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, job postings, candidate and hiring manager experiences).

Qualifications

Requirements

  • 10 years' technical recruitment experience in the technology space and or agency/search firm; in-house technical recruiting preferred.

  • Proven and successful track record of engaging, selling and recruiting technical and digital talent.

  • Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.

  • Results driven with the proven ability to perform in a deadline driven environment.

  • Demonstrated internet proficiency and ability to work with applicant tracking systems as well as sourcing tools.

  • Strong competency in cold calling, networking, innovative sourcing, and building talent communities within unique functional areas.

  • Excellent time and program management skills.

  • Technical acumen- must have the ability to understand complex roles.
